What is a Combi Double Stroller?

Could you pick a combi double stroller out of a lineup? Don’t worry if you can’t. In fact, most people don’t really know the difference between a normal double stroller and a combi-style stroller. The combi, if you’re a busy parent, is one of the best things you can buy. So, what’s really the difference between the standard double and a combi double? Well, that’s simple: The combi allows your children to sit next to each other, instead of the usual type where your children are normally sitting either tandem (one in front of the other), or facing each other. Most of the higher end combis coming out on the market these days are specifically designed to be folded up in all sorts of different ways, making it easy to fit them into your car, into airplane cargo holds, and other areas that might not have a whole lot of space. They’re even designed to fit into most doorways, so don’t worry about that at all.

What about steering? Certainly a combi side-by-side double stroller is a little bit more difficult to steer than a standard stroller. However, steering systems have become much more advanced these days, specifically on the high-end strollers. Most people have very few issues steering a combi around.
